An APC Chieftain and Consultant to the Governor of Ogun State, Bashorun Adebayo Amoda-Yusuf has been conferred with the prestigious title of BASHORUN AKARIGBO, OFFIN, SAGAMU, the tile that was firstly held by Late Adebisi Adesanya, the Chairman, Coka Cola Bottling Company (Africa).
The conferment ceremony was done by the Akarigbo & Paramount Ruler of Remo Land, HRM (Oba) Dr. Adewale Ajayi, CON, FCA at the palace hall with title chiefs and traditional rulers in attendance.
Traditional paying of homage and seeking of blessings was done at the thumb of the immediate late & 1st Bashorun Akarigbo, Offin, Sagamu same day.
It was a three in one celebration as the conferment ceremony also coincided with his birthday and celebration of the Muslim Tittles of OKANLOMO ADEEN OF REMO MUSLIMS AND SARUNMI ADEEN OF OGUN MUSLIM COMMUNITY.
The celebrants in his traditional regalia danced to the admiration of all as ‘Apala’ fuji music maestro, Musiliu Haruna Ishola mesmerized the large audience.
While fielding questions from journalists, Bashorun Awosanya thanked God for making the ceremony a huge success. He thanked Kabiyesi Akarigbo for the honour and confidence repose in him and went further to commend his people for their co-operation and steadfastness.
