Lukman Mustapha, son of Senator Lekan Mustapha has dismissed reports circulating on social media that he wants to contest the Ijebu Ode State Constituency House of Assembly election in 2027.

He made this known on Sunday when he spoke with newsmen stating that he has never discussed such with any person or group, attributing the rumour to the handiwork of mischief makers.

“I want to use the medium to clear the air on the reports circulating on social media about my purported house of Assembly bid to represent Ijebu Ode State Constituency. This is not true and should be disregarded.

“Firstly, I’m not from Ijebu Ode. I’m a native of Ijebu Igbo in Ijebu North LGA of Ogun State. So, if i want to go into politics and contest any election, it will be in my local government of origin, Ijebu North. The reports circulating is the handiwork of the mischief makers”. Lukman stated.
